Its a good app but it crashes with new update please fix it!!

This app has no point except to try and sell more lego dimension sets. No useful information in the app. I was hoping to see a list of what items have which special abilities. There isnt that here. Just pictures, text on the background of the characters and pointless videos. Build instructions, if included are just to build the minifig (at least for the level packs...). The special bonus for jumping through the inane hoops for the badges (including owning every single pack or at least saying you do....) is 2 wallpapers?? Really? You can do better than this Lego.

Hey its SarahStarx here writing a review! Lego Dimensions is a GREAT app to collect and to see what to collect. Dont listen to the haters just because its not the real game, of course its not, its just to get an idea of all the packs. I love to be able to scan a pack every time I get a new one, and I love to remove from wishlist and put it in my collection. I just recently became a fan of Lego Dimensions and this app is what got me really into the packs. If you are a collector for Lego Dimensions packs, get this...its worth it.

If you read the description of the app instead of just downloading it, then you would find it does exactly what it says it does. It offers set up and (granted) limited game play vids. It lets you keep track of your collection and the ability to share said collection. Would I like a more in depth description of the characters and abilities, yes. Would I like the ability to turn off the sound with out having to mute my phone, absolutely. Also a better description of scanning the pack, there needs to be a note that says to scan the front of the pack not the bar code. I have enjoyed the game and used the app for its intended purpose both of which I have enjoyed. The only reason I didnt 5⭐️ was because of the afore mentioned possible improvement that could be made

So I downloaded this game and couldnt figure it out,but the I new that I couldnt play and honestly,I like playing,but some people like collecting lego packs,so Ill give it two stars.

I recently picked up LEGO: Dimensions for my PlayStation 4, and was presented with one of the best crossover games I had ever witnessed. The tie-in app, however, seems more like a commercial for the game rather than a useful way to monitor your collection. The only content in Collection Vortex is a bland Wish List and Collection feature and bios and videos for all of the playable characters. And by the only content, I mean THE ONLY CONTENT. Theres no information on character and vehicle abilities, no instructions for building said characters and vehicles, no crucial information whatsoever when attempting to complete the game 100% as I am. Theres also a scan feature present, which works fine, except for Level Packs, which oddly translate to the Starter Pack when scanned. About the aforementioned videos, they refuse to play on my iPhone 6. I am not sure if its a device problem or an app problem, but I could have perhaps squeezed a little more out of the app had this worked. Also, as reluctant as I am to sound nitpicky, every time I go to add a pack to my Wish List/Collection, I am forced to go back to the beginning of the menu, which wears on my thumb due to all the necessary scrolling. Its aggravating when I buy a haul of packs and have to continously swipe to go back to a certain category. Well, Ive spent roughly two weeks with the app, and I can prove that it is a simple, useless advertisement for the game, only serving useful to those who (somehow) cant remember which Packs they have bought. Its a shame. This app could have been a great companion for that one grocery store trip, and assisted completionists like me into deciding who I need to buy in order to do this. With the second year of LEGO: Dimensions around the corner, it would be beneficial if they updated the app to not only include the newest characters and vehicles, but to add some of the lacking features in order to make it a useful app rather than just a 400+ MB commercial sleeping on my Home Screen. Overall, youre just better off creating a Wish List/Collection with a plain old pencil and paper.

The app is cool for what it is but I was hoping for so much more. I want an app that I can search "blow up silver bricks" and it will tell me "Wicked Witch" etc. I like that I can keep track of the packs Ive purchased and have links and stuff but the powers and abilities NEED to be listed somewhere officially by Lego. Either ON the pack box or on the app.

I love this app but I really want to see wave six now that it is out. Dont forget Green Arrow!

great way to track what figures you have time to update for the new and upcoming figures

I like the program just fine, but they have released nothing for year 2 even though many of the informations for the paks have been out for month. Now that they are actually releasedl there is still nothing. People are not going to get this if its not kept up.

I love the game on Xbox 1! This app is really helpful in keeping track of what characters I have and what I want. Excited to show my parents my wish list so I can collect them all!

Great way for me to track my collection for the game and keep track of packs I want to get still. Need to finish my LOTR collection now!

I havent got it yet (because Im in my car) and I went to check the reviews and I saw 5 stars so I thought " Woah , this must be a cool app then I saw 3 reviews and thought " when did this come out?" And saw it said 3 DAYS AGO! But besides that , it looks like a good app.

Kind of pointless app. How about adding what each character does without watching a video. The app is huge as it is.

All the dates for the wave releases are wrong

The real game is awesome! I play it on Wii U. But the only problem with this app is that it is VERY big in size. I have a IPhone 5c so I dont have that much room. Otherwise download this app and get the game.
